COMSATS University Sahiwal honors semester position holders at certificate distribution ceremony

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI),Sahiwal Campus organized a certificate distribution ceremony on Friday at the Junaid Zaidi Auditorium to recognize semester position holders for their academic achievements.

According to a university spokesperson,Deputy Commissioner(DC) Sahiwal Capt.(R) Sami Ullah Farooq attended the ceremony as chief guest while Punjab Prison Staff Training College Commandant Shaukat Feroze Awan was present as guest of honor.

In his welcome address,Campus Director Prof.Dr.Shahid Soroya congratulated the position holders and appreciated their dedication,hard work and commitment to academic excellence.

He urged students to continue striving for higher goals and contribute positively to society.

The chief guest praised the students for their performance,stating that education,discipline and perseverance were key to success.

He also lauded the university for maintaining a strong academic culture and producing skilled graduates.

The guest of honor also congratulated the award recipients and encouraged them to remain focused on their goals and uphold strong ethical values in their professional and personal lives.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among 84 students who secured first positions in their respective classes during the Fall 2025 semester.

A group photograph was also taken on the occasion.

Later,a hi-tea was hosted,where faculty members, students and guests interacted in an informal setting.
