Comprehensive clean-up drive

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC)

launched a grand cleanliness operation across the city to ensure exemplary hygiene

and sanitation.

Special cleaning activities have been intensified in residential areas, mosques, Eidgahs, and

main thoroughfares, with timely collection and disposal of garbage and thorough washing of streets

to provide residents with a clean and healthy environment.

CEO of MWMC Abid Hussain Bhatti was actively present in the field yesterday, inspecting the ongoing

operations across different parts of the city.

He instructed the concerned officers and staff that no negligence would be tolerated during the

Eid festivities and that all available resources must be utilized to maintain top-notch cleanliness

standards.

Bhatti also highlighted that a special control room has been established for Eid, and additional staff

and machinery have been deployed to respond promptly to any emergency situations.
