Commissioner visits Ramadan Bazaar,reviews quality and availability of essential items

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Commissioner of Lahore division,Marryam Khan on Monday visited the Ramadan Sahulat Bazaar in Wahdat Colony to review the availability,quality and prices of essential food items provided to citizens at subsidized rates.

She was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Lahore,Ali Ejaz, during the visit.

The commissioner inspected the supply of flour,pulses,ghee,sugar,meat, as well as fruits and vegetables to ensure that fresh and high-quality products were available to shoppers.

Marryam Khan also reviewed the facilitation counters,interacted with citizens to gather feedback and checked arrangements for cleanliness,parking,security and other public services to ensure a smooth shopping experience during Ramadan.

She affirmed that the quality of all essential items at Sahulat Bazaars was being maintained at a high standard and added that strict monitoring of prices and quality was also being conducted in the open market.
