Commissioner Sukkur reviews ongoing repair work at Govt Anwar Paracha Hospital

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi on Tuesday visited the Government Anwar Paracha Hospital to review the ongoing repair work being carried out under the supervision of Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr. Asad Sarwar Soomro with the support of philanthropists.

Accompanied by MS Dr Asad Sarwar, Commissioner Qureshi inspected the operation theater, laboratory, and outpatient departments for eye and dental care. He appreciated the efforts of philanthropists and emphasized the importance of trust and cooperation in such initiatives.

Dr. Asad Sarwar briefed the commissioner on the repair work and stated that the first phase involved removing weak plaster from ceilings and walls, and the second phase is currently underway. He added that the hospital is working to improve patient care facilities and plans to hire an ENT consultant soon.

Commissioner Sukkur praised Dr. Asad Sarwar's dedication to improving healthcare services at the hospital which has been his focus since taking charge as MS just over a month ago.
