Commissioner reviews city's beautification projects, orders timely completion

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Wednesday visited various sites of the Chief Minister's Punjab city beautification projects at City Road, Kutchehry Bazaar, and Kabari Bazaar to review the progress of ongoing development work.

During the visit, officials from the Building Department, Municipal Corporation, and FESCO, along with engineers and contractors, briefed the Commissioner on the technical status and pace of their respective tasks.

Hafiz Shaukat Ali also met local traders to address their concerns regarding construction-related issues and directed the relevant officers to resolve these problems on a priority basis to ensure business activities remain uninterrupted.

The commissioner stated that the beautification project was aimed at improving the city's outlook while providing better infrastructure for both the citizens and the business community.

He underscored that no compromise would be tolerated on the quality of construction and that he was personally monitoring all stages of the development.

Later, the Commissioner inspected the reconstruction of Kabari Bazaar road and directed the staff to ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe to facilitate public movement. He also issued instructions to transform Kabari Bazaar Chowk into a model square through enhanced renovation measures.

Director Development Bilal Hassan and Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Majid Bin Ahmed accompanied the Commissioner during the inspection.
