Commissioner orders curbing cheating in exams

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia visited an examination centre, established at Government Shuhada APS High school Bahawalpur and instructed the officials concerned to curb cheating in exams fully.

According to an official press release, he reviewed arrangements for the ongoing examinations in detail. During the visit, the commissioner inspected the strict security arrangements, installation of CCTV cameras, and overall examination environment. He directed the officials concerned to ensure transparency, discipline, and merit in the conduct of examinations at all costs.

He said that provision of a peaceful environment for students is the administration’s top priority. Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia also instructed the authorities to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against cheating, stating that no irregularity in the examination process would be tolerated.

He directed that strict monitoring at examination centres must be ensured so that examinations could be completed in a transparent and organised manner.
