Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Kareem Khan distributed hearing assistive devices among 28 hearing-impaired students during a ceremony held at the Special Education School Burewala

BUREWALA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Kareem Khan distributed hearing assistive devices among 28 hearing-impaired students during a ceremony held at the Special education school Burewala.

As the chief guest, the Commissioner handed over hearing aids worth Rs1.8 million, arranged with the support of philanthropists, to special students.

Appreciating the initiative, Aamir Kareem Khan said the provision of modern hearing devices would significantly improve the communication skills and educational performance of special children, enabling them to play a productive role in society.

He informed that more than 3,000 children across Multan Division had undergone medical screening, out of which 400 children were selected for hearing assistive support.

A local philanthropist Rana Tahir Kareem Khan bore the expenses of hearing devices for the 28 students of Burewala. He added that speech therapy sessions would also continue to further enhance students’ speaking and comprehension abilities.

Deputy Commissioner Vehari Khalid Javed Goraya, Assistant Commissioner Jawad Hussain Malik, along with administrative officers, political representatives and social personalities attended the ceremony.
