Commissioner for fully developed park in center of city

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan chaired a meeting to review a proposal for establishing a public park in the heart of the city,here on Saturday.

The meeting examined a plan to convert the existing green belt at Chungi No.9 into a fully developed park to provide quality recreational facilities to residents.

Commissioner Aamir directed authorities to prepare a comprehensive plan for the project.

He further instructed that the temporary Metro Command and Control Center be shifted to a permanent building so that the vacated land could be utilized for the park.

He instructed the Multan Development Authority (MDA) to ensure immediate progress on the initiative,stressing that provision of a healthy and pleasant environment for citizens remains a top priority.

Aamir Karim Khan said the proposed park would serve as a best recreational addition for the people of Multan.
