CM inaugurates residential flats for govt employees

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi on Friday inaugurated newly constructed residential flats for government employees.

The housing project, located in the Civil Quarters, comprises 96 modern residential flats, each covering 1,000 square feet. The project spans an area of 6.91 kanals.

The basement-plus-four-storey building includes 24 flats on each floor. The apartments are equipped with all essential facilities, including electricity, water, gas supply, security arrangements and parking.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that providing better housing facilities to government employees would enhance their performance and contribute to institutional stability.

He added that the provincial government would continue expanding residential schemes for public servants and pursuing reforms in the housing sector.

He emphasized that government employees are a valuable asset of the province and their welfare remains a top priority.
