CM Bugti condemns Quetta terror attack, vows ruthless action against militants

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has strongly condemned the terrorist incident near Chaman Phatak in Quetta, declaring that militants will never succeed in their conspiracies to destabilize peace and stability in the province.

Sarfraz Bugti said that terrorists backed by India are targeting innocent civilians, including women and children, to demonstrate their brutality. He stressed that those responsible for shedding the blood of innocent citizens are not deserving of any leniency, and vowed that the state will hunt down enemy elements and their facilitators one by one until justice is served.

Calling the attack a cowardly act, the Chief Minister warned that there would be no haven left for terrorists in Balochistan. He reaffirmed that the war against terrorism will continue until the last militant is eliminated, with the state using its full strength to crush India-backed elements and their supporters.

Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that the sacrifices of martyrs will not go in vain, and the Balochistan government remains committed to protecting the lives and property of its people by deploying all available resources.
