City administration completed work of removing trees fallen due to rains

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) In the aftermath of heavy rainfall, rescue and relief operations were successfully completed under the directives of the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah.

According to the hand out issued by the Commissioner office, the city administration has completed the work of removing trees fallen due to rains with the help of KMC Town administration and traffic police.

Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi has said that the administration is on high alert to deal with the current rains.

All Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners remained in the field, working with relevant departments to restore damage caused by the rains.

The Commissioner personally monitored the restoration work. Deputy Commissioners reported that all fallen trees in their districts have been removed.

Commissioner office has also released a list of 51 trees removed from major roads includes locations like Hjri Road, Rab Medical Centre, Jaffery Optics, Ahmed Saya Road, and others in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
