PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi on Friday expressed deep grief over the tragic accident involving a passenger bus bound from Quetta and directed the relevant authorities to continue rescue and relief operations uninterrupted .
According to an official statement, the chief minister instructed Rescue 1122, the district administration and other concerned departments to ensure the provision of immediate and the best possible medical treatment to the injured. He said any negligence or delay in the rescue operation would not be tolerated.
He directed Rescue 1122 teams to remain in close coordination with the emergency services in Balochistan, ensure the prompt identification of victims belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and establish contact with their families without delay.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>The chief minister also directed the authorities to transport the bodies of the deceased to their native areas with due respect and extend every possible assistance to the bereaved families.
Expressing profound sorrow over the loss of precious lives, Sohail Afridi offered heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
