Bus-trailer collision in Khanewal kills driver, injures 14 passengers

KHANEWAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) An accident occurred when a bus traveling from Faisalabad to Bahawalpur collided with a trailer

on the main highway, killing the bus driver and injuring 14 passengers.

According to Resecue 1122, the bus driver, identified as Muhammad Kamil, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rescue 1122 teams arrived immediately after receiving the information and rescued a total of 14 people.

Twelve of the injured, including Razia Bibi, Abida Bibi, Naseem Akhtar, Ayub, Aima, Ishal, Atif, Tanseeb, Samsha Iqbal,

Maria Bibi, Sakina Bibi, and Ali Hasnain, were given first aid on-site.

Two critically injured passengers, Salma Bibi and Muhammad Zahid, were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
