ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) PML-N leader Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan on Thursday termed ‘Bunyan-um-Marsoos’ a year of diplomatic victory, saluted Pakistan’s leadership for its successful strategy during that period and described it as a miraculous day in the nation’s history.

While talking exclusively to a local news channel, Khurram Dastgir Khan said India had failed over the past year to substantiate its allegations against Pakistan on the diplomatic front.

He maintained that despite repeated attempts, New Delhi could not present credible evidence to support its claims against Islamabad before the international community.

He said Pakistan, on the other hand, successfully defended its position at every diplomatic forum and emerged stronger due to the leadership and coordinated strategy of Chief of the Defense Forces (CDF) and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The country demonstrated unity and resilience during a challenging period and effectively safeguarded its national interests, he added.

Khurram Dastgir stated that “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” became a symbol of Pakistan’s diplomatic strength and national resolve.

He said the leadership’s vision and policies enabled Pakistan to strengthen its global credibility while exposing what he described as India’s unsuccessful narrative against the country.

He further said that Pakistan’s diplomatic achievements during the past year enhanced the country’s international standing and reinforced confidence among friendly nations.

He added that India remained unable to prove its accusations, while Pakistan succeeded in presenting its stance with clarity and responsibility before the world.

To a query, he said that when elections are held in India, it may once again attempt to raise similar issues against Pakistan. However, he cautioned that India should keep in mind that Pakistan’s response in the past year has already demonstrated its diplomatic strength.

He added that Pakistan today has an even stronger capacity to respond in a more powerful and effective manner than before.

Khurram further warned any future attempt to undermine Pakistan at the diplomatic level would be met with a firm and well-prepared response.

Khurram Dastgir emphasized that Pakistan’s current leadership and institutional coordination have significantly improved the country’s ability to defend its narrative internationally.

He said this strengthened position would continue to ensure that any repeated attempts by India would be countered decisively and responsibly.
