BRA urges service providers to register and comply with tax laws

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jul, 2026) The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) has appealed to all service providers across the province to immediately complete their registration with the Authority if they have not yet done so, and to fulfill their legal obligations under the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services Act, 2015.

According to BRA, all registered service providers are required to file their tax returns within the prescribed deadlines, pay due taxes, and maintain invoices, returns, and other business records in accordance with the law for verification when needed.

The Authority emphasized that compliance with tax laws is not only a legal obligation but also a civic responsibility.

Timely payment of taxes provides essential resources for projects in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and public welfare, contributing directly to the development and prosperity of Balochistan.

BRA further highlighted that registration, return filing, and tax payments have been made fully digital and online, ensuring greater convenience, transparency, and ease for the business community.

The Authority urged all service providers to respect the law, actively participate in the tax system, and play their role as responsible citizens in the province’s growth and progress.
