Boy’s body fished out from canal

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) The body of a 10-year-old boy was spotted floating in canal passing through Mauza Laar of Ahmadpur East district which was retrieved.

According to the rescue staff of the Punjab Emergency Service the body of a little boy was seen floating in the canal and was retrieved before it could drift further away.

In the presence of the police, the body was shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Ahmadpur East. The deceased was identified as 10-years-old Dilawer son of Altaf.

The local police have been investigating the incident. Furhter probe was in process.
