Blind murder traced, 4 arrested over killing woman

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jul, 2026) Raza Abad police claimed to have solved a two-year-old blind murder case of a woman and arrested four accused including victim's real brother, sister and brother-in-law on murder charges.

Police spokesman said that Bandia Bibi had been abducted and murdered two years ago under mysterious circumstances. The accused threw her body into a canal which was later on recovered from the jurisdiction of Nawan Lahore police station.

The police after registering a case started investigation and uncovered that murder perpetrators were her own close relatives who allegedly planned the murder to seize possession of her house.

The accused including her brother Amir, sister Benish, brother-in-law Abid and their accomplice Ammar had allegedly lured the victim before slitting her throat with a knife. Later, they disposed of the body in a canal to conceal the evidence.

However, Station House Officer (SHO) Raza Abad police station Muhammad Sufyan successfully traced the blind murder through advanced investigative techniques and arrested all four accused while further investigation was under progress, spokesman added.
