MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) The Board of Governors of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary education (BISE) Multan approved the deployment of IT invigilators to strengthen the biometric attendance system at examination centres.
The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Commissioner and Chairman BISE Multan Aamir Kareem Khan. The meeting reviewed several administrative and examination-related agenda items.
Participants were presented with the implementation report of decisions taken in the board’s 383rd meeting. The meeting was also informed about the extension in the tenure of the Secretary and Controller of Examinations of BISE Multan by the Punjab government.
The board approved special measures to ensure transparency at sensitive examination centres and ratified the establishment of SSC and HSSC examination centres in privately affiliated institutions.
The Board of Governors also endorsed the chairman’s decision regarding the restoration of previously blacklisted examination centres and approved the change of certain practical laboratories during examinations.
The meeting discussed admission forms of students of Government Girls High school Mubarakpur, Kabirwala, and also reviewed issues faced by former students of ex-Ideal College Multan.
The board approved further relief for ex-Ideal College students, allowing them to obtain their results by paying 20 percent of outstanding dues, while the remaining 80 percent would have to be paid before the result announcement.
It was also decided that students would be allowed to submit their second-year admissions according to the board schedule.
BISE Secretary Khurram Qureshi and other board members attended the meeting.
