QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) The Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) has established a special monitoring team to oversee compliance across various service-providing sectors in the province.

According to a BRA spokesperson here on Thursday, the team would monitor pathological laboratories, doctors, cosmetic surgeons, dermatologists, healthcare clinics, and beauty parlors.

The initiative was aimed to ensure effective implementation of the Balochistan Sales Tax on Services (BSTS) laws.

Official said that the newly formed team would not only review registration and tax compliance within these sectors but would also collect data, provided awareness, and took measures to bring unregistered service providers into the tax net.

The BRA emphasized that such steps were part of a broader effort to strengthen the province’s revenue system, promoted transparency, and expanded the tax base.

The authority reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these measures consistently to stabilize provincial finances and ensured fair taxation across all service sectors.
