Balochistan government promotes health sector investment through public-private collaboration

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2026) A high-level meeting was held under the joint chairmanship of Vice Chairman Balochistan Investment board Bilal Khan Kakar and Secretary Health Balochistan Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai to explore opportunities for investment in the health sector and improve access to quality medical facilities for the public.

The session was attended by CEO, BBOIT Qaim Lashari, relevant officials, and local investors. Participants discussed proposals to modernize Balochistan’s healthcare system, encourage private sector involvement, and establish new hospitals, diagnostic centers, medical colleges, and other health-related projects.

Officials briefed attendees on the investment opportunities available in the province, government incentives, and investor-friendly policies. Vice Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar emphasized that the provincial government is taking serious steps to prioritize healthcare development.

He noted that private sector participation would not only provide quality medical services but also generate new employment opportunities.

Secretary Health Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai highlighted that a comprehensive strategy is underway to establish modern medical centers across districts and improve the existing health infrastructure. He assured investors of full cooperation from the Health Department to make the investment process easier and more effective.

CEO, BBOIT Qaim Lashari added that Balochistan offers vast investment opportunities in health, education, minerals, and infrastructure, and pledged maximum facilitation for investors.

The meeting concluded with a commitment that through government and private sector collaboration, Balochistan’s health sector will be made more active, modern, and people-friendly, ensuring better medical facilities at the doorstep of citizens.
