Balochistan Assembly praises Armed Forces’ victory in Marka-e-Haq, reaffirms national unity

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) During the session of the Balochistan Assembly on Friday, the Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, along with provincial ministers, advisers, and parliamentary secretaries, presented a joint congratulatory resolution lauding Pakistan’s armed forces for their “remarkable success” in the Marka-e-Haq.

The resolution paid glowing tribute to the Army, Navy, and Air Force for their timely, coordinated, and decisive actions in defending the nation, safeguarding national security, and thwarting hostile designs. The resolution said that Pakistan Air Force pilots shot down seven enemy aircraft, destroyed multiple air bases and military installations, and effectively neutralized the adversary’s defense systems. It further noted that several enemy posts raised white flags in surrender.

The Assembly praised the courage, professionalism, and extraordinary combat capabilities of the armed forces and sacrifices of the armed forces in the defend of the nation, declaring the victory not merely symbolic but a historic turning point that reinforced Pakistan’s strategic resolve.

The resolution said that the Marka-e-Haq has delivered a clear and lasting message regarding regional defense strategy and the balance of power: any form of aggression or adventurism would be met with an uncompromising response.

Highlighting Pakistan’s preparedness, the resolution said that the military’s operational readiness and superior skills demonstrated the country’s ability to confront challenges far beyond enemy expectations. It reaffirmed Pakistan’s identity as a peace-loving nation, while underscoring its determination to defend sovereignty, security, and national dignity at all costs.

The Assembly also extended strong commendations to Field Marshal Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their leadership, timely decisions, and guidance during the battle.

The Balochistan Assembly also reaffirmed its resolve that the entire Pakistani nation particularly the people of Balochistan stand shoulder to shoulder with their brave armed forces and will remain united for the defense, stability, and progress of Pakistan.
