Bahawalpur Blue wins inter-seminaries cricket tournament

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Bahawalpur Blue Club has won final match of Inter-Seminaries Cricket Tournament played at Dring Stadium Bahawalpur here.

The final match was played between the Bahawalpur Green and Bahawalpur Blue teams, in which Bahawalpur Blue delivered an outstanding performance and emerged victorious.

Students from 10 religious seminaries took part in the tournament, and four teams were formed by combining students from different seminaries. Four teams participated in the tournament, with Bahawalpur Blue being declared the winning team.

Commissioner Bahawalpur Division, Irfan Ali Kathia, specially attended the final match of the cricket tournament held among students of religious seminaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Kathia said that encouraging students of religious seminaries toward healthy and positive activities is the need of the hour. He stated that the beautiful combination of education and sports plays an important role in shaping the balanced personalities of the younger generation.
