She said this in her special message issued by the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) on the occasion of World Immunization Week.

She said that immunization remains the most effective tool to safeguard children’s health and prevent the spread of dangerous illnesses.

She reiterated that eradicating polio and strengthening routine immunization are among the government’s top priorities.

Ms. Farooq urged parents to ensure that all children under the age of five receive polio drops during every vaccination campaign, stressing that consistent participation is essential to eliminate the virus.

Highlighting the broader public health goal, she said that vaccinating every child is indispensable for building a healthier and safer Pakistan, and called for collective efforts from communities, healthcare workers, and stakeholders to achieve this national mission.
