Awareness session on voter registration, CNIC, B-form held

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Jul, 2026) Assistant Director Social Welfare Department, Fauzia Hassan, in collaboration with IDCC/DVEC, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), organized an awareness session on voter registration, Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), B-Form, and NADRA Pak ID app.

During the session, participants were informed about the importance of voter registration, responsible use of right to vote, correction of voter information in electoral rolls, and the procedure for registering new voters.

Regional In-charge of NADRA, Rafiq Ahmed Bular, provided practical guidance on the use of Pak ID app, explaining various services related to Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), including online applications, document renewal, and other digital facilities.

On the occasion, District Election Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad, Muhammad Yousuf Majeedano, and NADRA Regional In-charge Rafiq Ahmed Bular emphasized that every eligible citizen should obtain a national identity card and register as a voter, as the proper use of right to vote plays a vital role in strengthening the democratic system. They urged youth, women, and all eligible citizens to complete their voter registration and take full advantage of NADRA's modern online services.

At the conclusion of the awareness session, participants' questions were answered, and informational material

regarding voter registration, NADRA services, and the use of Pak ID app was distributed among the attendees.
