Attock Police crack down on drug trade, four suspects held with large haul of narcotics

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Attock Police on Friday arrested four alleged drug dealers in separate raids and recovered a substantial quantity of narcotics, including hashish, crystal meth (ice), heroin, opium, and liquor from their possession.

According to police sources, Assistant Sub-Inspector Yasir Ali of Rango Police Station, during a checking operation with his team, apprehended Imtiaz Ahmad, son of Muhammad Riaz and a resident of Waisa, Tehsil Hazro. Police recovered 2,000 grams of hashish from the suspect.

In a separate action, Assistant Sub-Inspector Saeed-ur-Rehman of New Airport Police Station arrested Mubashar, son of Mir Rehman, a resident of Qutbal, Tehsil Fateh Jang, and seized 1,800 grams of hashish.

Meanwhile, Assistant Sub-Inspector Fida Hussain of Attock City Police Station recovered 280 grams of crystal meth (ice), 160 grams of heroin, and 60 grams of opium from Muhammad Aqeel, son of Hussain Gul, a resident of the area near the NADRA Office in Attock.

In another operation, Assistant Sub-Inspector Jameel Akhtar of Bahter Police Station arrested Muhammad Saeed, son of Allah Dad and a resident of Bahter, Tehsil Fateh Jang, after recovering 10 liters of liquor from his possession. Police have registered separate cases against all four suspects, while further investigation and legal proceedings are underway.
