Attock administration reviews Eid cleanliness arrangements under ‘Suthra Punjab’

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Rao Atif Raza, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner General and Managing Director of Suthra Punjab Agency Aneel Saeed, on Wednesday visited various parts of the city to review cleanliness arrangements ahead of Eid-ul-Adha under the “Suthra Punjab” initiative. Relevant officers were also present during the inspection visits.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected sanitation operations on roads, in residential areas, markets, and other key locations, and conducted a detailed review of arrangements being implemented by the Suthra Punjab Agency. He directed the concerned departments to ensure timely collection and disposal of sacrificial animal waste during Eid holidays to maintain cleanliness and hygienic conditions across the district.

During the visit, special waste collection bags were distributed among citizens to facilitate the safe disposal of sacrificial remains. Rao Atif Raza appealed to the public to place animal waste in the designated bags and cooperate with sanitation staff by following official guidelines to help keep the city clean during Eid-ul-Adha.

Speaking on the occasion, MD Suthra Punjab Agency Aneel Saeed said special sanitation teams had been constituted throughout the district, while machinery and staff would remain operational round the clock for immediate waste disposal. The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to ensuring effective cleanliness arrangements and providing the best possible civic facilities to residents during Eid celebrations.
