QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Balochistan, Askar Khan, on Wednesday, directed the concerned officers to take all necessary steps for the effective implementation of the e-filing system and to provide training to the staff on this modern system.
He said this while chairing a meeting regarding the e-filing system. The meeting was attended by the heads of all departments of the Information Department.
Addressing the meeting on this occasion, DGPR Askar Khan said that in the present era, it has become inevitable for government institutions to adopt a digital system.
He said that keeping in mind the vision of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, it is being started on a priority basis in the Department.
Stressing the importance of the e-filing system, he said that through it, office affairs can be made effective, transparent and fast.
He directed that this system should be started regularly under the document system so that all files and office operations can be carried out in an organized and secure manner.
The DGPR said that the implementation of the e-filing system would not only bring innovation in government affairs but could also increase the efficiency of employees and the process of providing services to the public would be better and faster.
He directed the concerned officers to take all necessary steps for the effective implementation of the e-filing system and to provide training to the staff on this modern system.
Earlier, Muhammad Dawar of the Chief Minister's Delivery Unit (CMDU) told the briefing that the implementation of the e-filing system would make government affairs compatible with modern requirements, timely delivery of files could be possible and transparency and speed up office affairs would be brought.
He further said that through this system, it would be possible to make records available in a secure digital form, which would save time and resources as well as significantly improve efficiency.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that the e-filing system could be implemented in phases so that office affairs in the Information Department would be developed on modern and effective lines.
