Artists delegation calls on Engr Amir Muqam

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jun, 2026) A delegation of artists, led by Saeeda Khan, provincial president of Pakistan Muslim League (N) culture wing, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, met with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of PMLN KP, Engineer Amir Muqam, at his residence in Peshawar Cantonment.

During the meeting, renowned Pashto singers Almas Khalil, Akbar Ali, Gul Ji, Samat Shah, and Imran, along with their associates, formally joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N).

On this occasion, Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam welcomed the new members, presented them with PML-N party caps, congratulated them on joining the party, and extended a warm welcome.

The meeting also included discussions on the challenges faced by the artist community, promotion of cultural activities, and the welfare of artists.

Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam praised the positive role of artists in society, their contribution to promoting culture, and their services in strengthening national unity. He stated that artists are the true ambassadors of a nation's cultural identity and heritage.
