Armed robbers loot millions near Jarma bridge in Kohat

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) In a brazen daylight robbery, unidentified armed motorcyclists looted 4 million PKR from a citizen near Jarma Bridge, within the jurisdiction of the Mills Area Police Station.

According to local reports, the victims were intercepted at gunpoint by the suspects, who fled the scene immediately after seizing the cash.

Citizens expressed hope that the Kohat Police often referred to as the "guardians of the city" would soon apprehend the culprits and recover the stolen funds, others voiced serious grievances regarding police conduct.

The local police have reportedly launched an investigation into the matter and are utilizing "intelligence-based leads" to trace the fleeing suspects.
