Air Chief says PAF responded from Srinagar to Bathinda with decisive action.
Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has said that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) played a historic and decisive role in national defence stating that during Marka-e-Haq the force delivered a powerful response to the adversary from Srinagar to Bathinda and inflicted a significant defeat on the Indian Air Force.
He made these remarks while addressing a ceremony held at Air Headquarters Islamabad in honour of the Pakistan Air Force where he attended as the chief guest.
In his address the Air Chief said that following the Pahalgam false flag incident Pakistan had extended a proposal for an independent and impartial investigation. However he noted that India responded with what he described as baseless allegations against Pakistan.
He stated that the Pakistan Air Force effectively targeted and disrupted the enemy’s air defence network, playing a central role in what he termed a “decisive operational response.” According to him PAF demonstrated strong operational superiority across air, cyber, and electronic warfare domains.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu further highlighted that Pakistan’s cyber units successfully compromised hostile cyber infrastructure while coordinated operations resulted in a comprehensive setback for the opposing air force. He also claimed that advanced enemy platforms were rendered ineffective during the engagement.
He added that key installations were targeted with precision including the destruction of an S-400 air defence system in a matter of moments.
The Air Chief also pointed to Pakistan’s enhanced capabilities in drone warfare, stating that they were effectively demonstrated during the operation.
According to him, PAF executed its missions in record time, with every officer, airman, and supporting unit contributing to the success of Marka-e-Haq.
He congratulated the personnel of the Pakistan Air Force, calling their performance a reflection of professionalism, precision, and operational excellence, and reaffirmed that PAF remains the steadfast guardian of Pakistan’s airspace.
