AIOU launches online digital skills courses

KHANEWAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), through its Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL), has launched a series of modern online skills development courses aimed at equipping youth, freelancers, students, and entrepreneurs with the competencies needed to succeed in the digital economy.

The initiative has been introduced in collaboration with iSkills and is designed to provide participants with practical and market-oriented training that can help them secure better employment opportunities and increase their income through online businesses.

Admissions are now open for three specialized courses: E-Commerce and Business Automation, YouTube Automation and Monetization (AI-Powered), and Etsy Marketplace and Digital Products Business.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official admission portal at https://cll-adm.aiou.edu.pk.

Each course will have a duration of three months, followed by an additional three months of post-course support to assist participants in implementing their newly acquired skills.

The fee for each course has been fixed at Rs15,000, making the training accessible to a large number of aspiring learners.

Renowned trainer Tanveer Nandla and his team will conduct the courses, providing participants with hands-on training and insights into modern digital business practices to help them compete effectively in the global online marketplace.

The minimum educational qualification required for admission is Matriculation. Admissions commenced on June 8, 2026, while the last date for submission of applications is July 3, 2026. The first batch (Cohort-1) is scheduled to begin classes on July 10, 2026.
