ACP Karachi Pays Tribute to Superstar Faisal Qureshi

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, in collaboration with the Lifestyle Journalists Association, organized a ceremony at Auditorium I to pay tribute to Pakistan’s renowned superstar Faisal Qureshi in recognition of his outstanding services and remarkable performance in the showbiz industry. The ceremony was presided over by legendary actor Mustafa Qureshi, while President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah attended as the chief guest. A large number of renowned artists from the film and television industry attended the event, including famous actors Behroze Sabzwari, Salahuddin Tunio, Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed, Shehzad Nawaz, singer Fakhr-e-Alam, Hanif Raja, Consul General of Romania Mirza Ishtiaq Baig and Tipu Sharif. A special showreel based on Faisal Qureshi’s artistic journey was also presented, which was appreciated by the audience with loud applause.

A musical program and comedy night were also organized on the occasion, where artists from the film and television industry delivered outstanding performances.

Speaking on the occasion, Faisal Qureshi thanked the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and the Lifestyle Journalists Association. He said that the industry is like a family where people support one another. Faisal Qureshi also specially thanked his senior artists, particularly Mustafa Qureshi and Humayun SaeeDuring the ceremony, singers Nirmala Meghani, Afshan Khan, HassanJahangir, Shazia Kausar, Meerab and Shabana Kausar delivered outstanding performances which were highly appreciated by the audience.
