AC Lalian inspects 5 muharram procession in Chenab Nagar

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Lalian Dr. Muhammad Anas Saeed paid a surprise visit accompnied by DHO Dr. Tazila to the main mourning procession taken out from Chungi No. 3, Chenab Nagar on 5 Muharram.

Both officers closely inspected the arrangements set up by the Tehsil Administration Lalian for the mourners.

They made a detailed review of the security arrangements of the procession, the route, medical camp, ambulance service, and facilities for drinking water and first aid.

Anas Saeed also inspected the medical camp and available medicines. Both officers assured the organizers of all possible cooperation from the administration and expressed satisfaction over the discipline maintained during the procession.

The mourners of Chenab Nagar appreciated the field visit of the Assistant Commissioner and DDHO. They said the presence of the officers boosted the morale of the participants.
