GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Farooq Azam visited the fruit and vegetable market in Sarai Alamgir and inspected the auction process.
According to official sources, the assistant commissioner reviewed the bidding process of fruits and vegetables, their prices and availability.
He directed the concerned staff to ensure transparency in the auction process so that prices of essential food items could remain stable and the public could get relief.
Farooq Azam said that the district administration was regularly monitoring fruit and vegetable markets to keep prices under control and ensure the availability of food items for citizens at reasonable rates.
