AC Daska leads operation against illegal encroachments

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Daska Saadia Jaffer led an operation against illegal encroachments on busy roads of the town on Thursday.

During the drive, 54 temporary encroachments were removed, fines amounting to Rs16,000 were imposed and 10 traders were issued warnings for violating municipal regulations.

The operation was conducted at Canal Bridge, Bharoki Road, Lorry Adda Chowk, Fawara Chowk, College Road and Circular Road. Counters and other goods placed on roads in front of shops were removed, while signboards installed on roadsides were dismantled. Several items were also taken into custody during the action.

The staff of the Municipal Committee Daska participated in the anti-encroachment drive.
