Abducted cop found martyred in Tank

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) A police constable who was abducted a day earlier from the limits of Gomal Police Station in Tank district has been found dead, police confirmed on Wednesday.

Police said unidentified armed men kidnapped the cop, identified as Rehan Baloch, from Sheikh Atar Adda.

His body was later recovered near the Gomal Canal.

Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the body to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital. Police stated that Rehan Baloch was on leave and on his way home when he was abducted.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
