9 stolen motorcycles recovered during crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Police have conducted a successful operation following arrest two-member gang allegedly involved in multiple motorcycle theft incidents.

According to police spokesperson, the Civil Lines Police carried out a targeted operation and apprehended the suspects linked to a series of motorcycle thefts.

During the operation, nine stolen motorcycles were recovered from their possession. Police have registered separate cases against both of them and further investigation was in progress.

SP Potohar Sardar Babar Mumtaz Khan commended police team stated that the arrested individuals would be presented before the court along with solid evidence. He further emphasized that those involved in depriving citizens of their valuable assets cannot escape the grip of the law.

Likewise, Cantt Police conducted an operation and arrested a cleaner involved in stealing cash from a passenger’s pocket in public transport.

During the operation, police recovered stolen money amounting to Rs70,000 from his possession.
