538 traffic complaints addressed by CTP Rawalpindi

City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi remained actively engaged in public service, resolving the majority of public complaints regarding traffic issues faced by citizens in a timely manner

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th May, 2026) City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi remained actively engaged in public service, resolving the majority of public complaints regarding traffic issues faced by citizens in a timely manner.

According to CTP spokesperson, the traffic police received 583 complaints through various platforms during the past month, out of which 538 were resolved immediately, while inquiries into 45 complaints are still underway.

As a result, 89.67% of complainants expressed satisfaction over the prompt resolution of their issues.

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi Farhan Aslam is also holding daily public hearings to address citizens’ complaints on the spot and ensure immediate relief to the public.

Speaking on the occasion, CTO Farhan Aslam said that it is prime duty of the department to resolve public complaints.

He added that the complaint cell process remains incomplete until the complainant is fully satisfied.

He further noted that timely resolution of complaints helps build a positive image of the police among citizens.

The public has been advised to contact the traffic helpline at 051-9274843 for any traffic-related complaints or guidance.
