396,187 Ramazan Nigahban Cards distributed in Multan division

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Mar, 2026) A total of 396,187 Ramazan Nigehban Cards have been distributed across Multan division, with Rs. 3.96 billion disbursed among deserving families under the relief programme, Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan said on Wednesday.

He stated that Rs.

3,961,870,000 had so far been provided to low-income households to facilitate them during Ramzan under the initiative launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Sharing district-wise figures, the commissioner said 124,261 cards were distributed in Multan district, 121,720 in Khanewal, 94,545 in Vehari, and 55,661 in Lodhran.

He added that the distribution process had been accelerated to ensure timely financial assistance to all eligible families, adding that the welfare programme was benefiting thousands of households across the division
