2 armed suspects arrested

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) Lahore Police arrested two armed suspects from behind the Model Town courts, foiling a suspected criminal plan.

SP Model Town Jehan Dad Akram said the suspects were hiding near railway lines when the Children’s Hospital police picket personnel apprehended them after receiving information.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed they were planning a crime in Shah Jamal Colony. Police recovered a 32-bore revolver and bullets from them.

A case has been registered, and further investigation into the suspects’ motives and statements is underway, police said.
