181-kanals of state land worth Rs 188.5 mln retrieved in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) The district administration launched a major operation against land encroachment, successfully reclaiming 181 kanals of state-owned land here in Mouza Rakh Mandhra.

Acting on the directives of the provincial government, Additional Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Iftikhar Ahmad, accompanied by revenue officials and local police, carried out the operation and removed illegal occupation from the government property.

According to officials, the reclaimed land has an estimated market value of approximately Rs188.5 million. Following the operation, the land was taken back into official government possession.
