15 special persons receive assistive devices

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) The Social Welfare Department distributed assistive devices among 15 special persons at the Social Welfare Complex, here on Friday.

According to official sources, one electric/ motorised wheelchair, nine hearing aid devices, four cane sticks and one crutch was given during a ceremony, under the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Deputy Director Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Amna Alam, Former Federal Minister Haji Akram Ansar, Divisional Coordinator Rana Waris Hussain, Divisional director social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal Khalida Rafique were present in the ceremony.

Under the program, 311 assistive devices have already been distributed among special persons in the district.
