13 held in card-game gambling raids with stake money

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) The Rawal Division Police arrested 13 individuals in separate operations targeting illegal gambling on playing cards, seizing a total of Rs 57,600 in stakes, 17 mobile phones, and playing cards, a Rawalpindi Police spokesperson said on Thursday.

The Ratta Amral Police detained five suspects and recovered Rs 17,100 in stakes, 10 mobile phones, and playing cards.

In a separate raid, the Sadiqabad Police arrested eight individuals and seized Rs 40,500 in stakes, seven mobile phones, and playing cards.

Cases were registered against the arrested persons in both incidents.
