YouTube is also increasing the size of video titles to improve readability
YouTube is rolling out a new video interface designed to improve user experience and make navigation simpler across the platform.
The update brings a cleaner layout that reduces clutter and reorganizes important controls on video pages. The comments section will now appear more clearly below videos, making it easier for users to join discussions.
Channel features such as subscription buttons and channel pages have also been simplified. Instead of showing detailed channel information, the design will mainly display the channel logo and username.
Interactive options like, dislike, share, and the AI-based “Ask” feature are now grouped in a single row near the channel details. This change is aimed at making video actions quicker and easier to use.
Less used features such as save, download, and report will be moved into a separate menu. This helps keep the main screen cleaner and more organized while watching videos.
YouTube is also increasing the size of video titles to improve readability, especially for mobile users. This is part of its focus on better mobile viewing experience.
A major part of the update is the stronger presence of the AI tool “Ask YouTube,” which helps users interact with video content and fined information more easily.
The redesign is being introduced gradually and will reach users in different regions over the coming weeks.
