Youth Internship Programme starts in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jul, 2026) The fifth batch of the Youth Internship Programme commenced at the District Police Office (DPO) Complex in Gujrat to provide students with practical exposure to modern policing and public service.

According to a police spokesperson, students from various departments of the University of Gujrat were welcomed at the DPO Complex at the start of the internship.

The spokesperson said the programme aims to familiarize students with police services, legal procedures and the use of modern technology in policing. It is designed to enhance their understanding of the police system and the role of law enforcement in serving the public.

During the internship, the students will also receive practical knowledge about community policing and the functioning of various police departments.
