Youth injured after receiving electric shocks

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) An 18-year-old youth on Monday was seriously injured after suffering an electric shock near Ghala Mandi area on Faisalabad Road , the rescue sources said.

The victim, identified as Ahmed was painting the front portion of a house roof from a window when he accidentally came into contact with a live electric wire, triggering a severe electric current.

The Rescue 1122 team provided initial medical assistance at the scene.

The injured teenager was later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital , the sources added.
