Youth electrocuted

VEHARI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) A 25-year-old youth was electrocuted after coming into contact with an 11kV power line near Pull Nu-Bihar Vehari Chowk.

According to rescuers, the deceased, Muhammad Khalid, son of Muhammad Shabbir,resident of Kot Rabnawaz Arab, had climbed onto a truck to unload goods.

During the process, he accidentally touched a low-hanging high-voltage electric wire passing close to the vehicle. He received a severe electric shock, fell from the truck and died on the spot due to serious head injuries.

Police of the concerned jurisdiction were informed and reached the scene to complete legal formalities. The body was later handed over to the heirs after they declined to pursue any legal action.
