Youngster drowned at Kohat

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jul, 2026) A young boy drowned after falling in a pond in Rasai Qasaba areas of Kohat, police said here on Saturday.

According to police, a young boy identified as Abdul Mateen fell in a pond and drowned.

His body was fished out by Rescue 1122 team and locals. The ill fated youngster was resident of Shakardarra.

A ban has already been imposed by district administration on bathing, swimming and boating in dams, rivers and water reservoirs.

The ban has been imposed as part of measures to save lives during monsoons and floods.
