According to initial reports, the victim, identified as Saad Khan, was targeted by unknown attackers who opened fire at close range; meanwhile, residents reported hearing multiple gunshots that shattered the otherwise calm atmosphere. The assailants fled the scene immediately, leaving the victim fatally wounded.

Police teams reached the area promptly after receiving information and cordoned off the site; subsequently, forensic evidence was collected in a systematic manner. Furthermore, a search operation was launched in nearby localities to trace the culprits.

Officials described the attack as a brazen act of violence and assured that all available resources were being utilized effectively to identify those involved.
