Youm-e-Quds rally held in Dera Ismail Khan to support Palestinians

Dera Ismail Khan, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Mar, 2026) A large rally was held in Dera Ismail Khan on Friday to mark Youm-e-Quds. The rally started from Kotli Imam Hussain after Friday prayers and later moved to Dera-Bannu Road.

The rally was led by Allama Muhammad Ramzan Tauqeer, along with Allama Kazim Hussain Mutahari, Zia-ul-Hassan Naqvi, and Allama Nasir Abbas Tawakkali. A large number of participants, including religious scholars, students, and citizens from various walks of life, joined the march. They carried banners and placards expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Addressing the gathering, Allama Ramzan Tauqeer said that Youm-e-Quds was being observed this year as well with devotion and respect.

He expressed hope that a day would come when the sacrifices of the martyrs would bear fruit and Muslims from across the world would gather at Al-Aqsa Mosque to offer Friday prayers and see the liberation of the first Qibla.

Speakers on the occasion strongly condemned Israeli actions in Palestine and urged the international community to play its role in stopping the violence and ensuring the rights of the Palestinian people. They also called upon Muslim countries to unite and support the Palestinian cause.

The rally concluded with special prayers for the freedom of Palestine, unity of the Muslim Ummah, and peace and stability of the country.
